Ann Marie Theis is a business advisor specializing in retirement solutions business clients. She works closely with plan sponsors to assist in plan design and provide them with solutions for seamless administration of retirement benefits. Ann Marie has a passion for project management and user experience and specializes in building relationships while identifying creative ways to enhance user experiences and optimize process improvements.
Ann Marie joined Alerus in 2020 and previously served as an education consultant, where she played a significant role in evolving participant education to continue serving clients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to joining Alerus, she worked for Apple Inc. in consumer/small business sales and support. Her passion for client success through design thinking, adult learning, and process development was established through five years teaching in public schools, where she received recognition from the Grammy Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, and the Gilder-Lehrman Institute. She holds bachelor’s degrees in education and music from Michigan State University.
