Advisory Services Manager
Angela (Pickel) Leibfried is the advisory services manager at Alerus, with responsibility for leading the advisor-based retirement specialist team. In this role, she fosters collaboration between Alerus team members and advisors to exceed client service expectations, acts as a liaison for advisors and clients, and helps drive process improvement initiatives. Angela specializes in 401(k) plan design and compliance consultation. and achieved her Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation through ASPPA in 2012.
Angela joined Alerus in June 2021, bringing over 20 years of retirement industry experience. She is a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and human resource management from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. In her free time, she enjoys trying new and challenging fitness programs, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her husband, Rodney, and four children. She lives in Hazel Green, Wisconsin.
